The next area of Tot School is FINE MOTOR. Here are all the activities we did this week!
For this activity, I used a cookie sheet from Walmart, painted it with beige acrylic paint, painted a tree with brown and green acrylic paint and sprayed a few coats of matte paint over it. When it was dry, I worked on the apple cards.

In my Complete Curriculum set, you'll find the Apple Card Pieces printable. I simply printed the apple card pieces, laminated them, and placed a magnetic strip square on the back of each one. Then, we played our game! We added the apple trees one at a time and counted them.
For this fun activity, we utilized the Apple Dot stamping printable in my Complete Curriculum set. I simply printed the apple, gave Aria a red dot marker and she got to work. She even shouted "rojo" every time she stamped!
Here, we simply printed the Orange Pumpkin printable from my Complete Curriculum set, gathered 2 shape sponges and a container with a bit of water (LESSON LEARNED: Place a plastic tablecloth underneath to avoid spills! 😰).
She REALLY enjoyed this one so it looks like we'll be doing more of them soon!
She had so much fun playing with this Melissa & Doug Jumbo Beads & Lace set! I had Aria lace each jumbo bead as she said "orange" ("anaranjado" is a bit hard for her, now).
For this activity, we printed the Hot Air Balloon printable from my Complete Curriculum set, placed 2 cotton balls at the end of 2 clothespins, dipped them in orange and yellow paint and painted the hot air balloon!
**Side Note: Her favorite color and word to say is "LELLO!" 😂

The following area is GROSS MOTOR. Here are all the activities we did this week!
We gathered some Red Mega Bloks and a basket from Lakeshore Learning for this activity. Aria went on a scavenger hunt looking for all the red Mega Bloks and would place them in the basket. We counted them at the end of the activity.
After I printed the Ladybug card pieces printable from my Complete Curriculum set, I cut them into squares (easier for her to spot) and she looked around the room while she gathered each one and placed them in the basket. She REALLY wanted to walk around with the basket! 🀣
A classic Mega Blok fun time! Because I am still learning about her interests and exposing her to different toys, I realized she is not very fond of building/stacking. Therefore, I challenged her with this one and it looks like she got the hang of it!
Watching her Papi play basketball has got this girl trying to dunk the ball EVERY TIME! She loves to play this game and set her own rules.
Probably the most fun we've had with sidewalk chalk so far! For this activity, we went outside, drew some colorful flowers and practiced jumping on each one while counting "uno, dos, tres!"
*Of course, Mami and Papi drew the flowers but she did help color them in!

Below you'll find all of the SNACKS we had this week!

We sang songs, went on neighborhood field trips and had an amazing week learning all about RedOrange and Yellow! Stay tuned for more Tot School fun and check out Colors - Week 2 HERE! 🎚
